The closer you get the far it goes. Human wants are the most complex data set to visualize. Due to the limitlessness of our frame of thought we tend to run after illusions which inherently are masterful fabrications born deep within our own conscience. Is this really required? Is this what I dreamed of? Is this what was promised? are a subset of continuous queries we present to our inner selves.
Partly, the issue lies in the way the society has evolved. Though many realize what they are after is merely an illusion there seems to be no turning back. Either you swim with the flow or you drain your energy attempting a swim against the flow. Those who has the energy may survive the attempt but many will drown or eventually give-up and will surrender to the flow. Even the lifeless bodies of once energetic rebels will get pulled towards the flow of the society.
The energy to resist, is it yet another synonym for determination or wealth? It presents two schools of thought. One might argue that if you have a surplus of determination you can conquer any obstacle. Theoretically, it could be a possibility. But practically is the commercialized world that we live in governed by the same forces of its ideal representation. I believe not. Another might argue that the main force of this world is wealth. But does the wealth ends up in satisfaction.
Mind becomes a pendulum which drifts aimlessly without answers. The chase will never drive us towards satisfaction, instead it will consume us. Ultimately, the only thing which prevails will be 'The Chase'.
